Rachel, also known as Rae, is one of the directors of AND Oxfordshire as well as a youth group support worker. Rachel has ADHD.

Rachel has worked supporting children and young people with autism since September 1992. Rachel has worked with children in primary and secondary education, supporting them whether in specialist or mainstream settings. Rachel has also run youth groups for Autism Family support and helped with holiday activities.

This wide range of environments has helped Rachel to have a clear understanding of the pressures children and young people experience in education and socially. Rachel has much experience supporting children to understand how school can impact home life and vice versa.

Rachel feels that using humour and showing interest in the children and young people helps to build rapport and trust so that she can support CYP in the tricky times that inevitably pop up during sessions
